Fashionable and cute, these spacious zippered bags in two sizes will hold a variety of items or your favorite mini or regular-sized household iron.

Each features a zippered pocket on front and a mesh divider and fabric slip pocket inside. Rings attached to the handle may be used to attach a separate strap. (Check out ByAnnie's free Carrying Strap and Pad course to make a separate, detachable strap.)

An easy-to-make Cord Wrap handily contains cords and can be made with leftover fabrics and interfacing from the project.

The pattern includes complete step-by-step instructions for purses/iron carriers in two sizes:
SMALL: 7""H x 10¼""W x 5½""D (sized to carry popular mini irons)
LARGE: 9½""H x 13¼""W x 7""D (sized to carry most regular-sized irons)


HOMEWORK: All pieces to be cut and quilted per pattern instructions.

Skill Details: Confident beginner: Suitable for a new bag maker. Assumes familiarity with your sewing machine and its operation.

Requirements: Please bring basic sewing supplies: Sewing machine in good working order, scissors, rotary cutter, seam ripper, thread...etc. You may reserve a machine for rent in the shop or on our website, sewletsbequilty.com. Machine rental is $7.50 an hour. Basic supplies: studio rulers, scissors, seam ripper and rotary cutter are provided by the studio. Thread, fabric and any specialty items must be purchased by the customer at the time of rental.
