This sunflower is made using an interfacing applique method and Dresden plates with a Pie Ruler. You can hang it on your door for summer or a narrow wall. It measures 17" wide and 34" long. It's a very simple method with great end results. You only need to be an intermediate sewer to take the class. We have two separate kits available for class: bright or primitive. You’ll need to tell us which one you will choose when you register. The kit will include all fabric, coordinating backing, interfacing, binding, and a Pie ruler. This can also be an introduction to a block of the month that will begin later this summer/early fall. Samples can be seen in the shop. If you like the bird hanger we chose, we also carry those in the shop.
Supplies to bring: machine, thread, long ruler, scissors, and rotary cutter.
You will want to bring coordinating thread to machine applique.
